About Nischala Nannapaneni

Dr. Nannapaneni is a board certified Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist. Her passion in patient care and diseases of the heart started as a little girl watching her two aunts make a difference not only in patients’ but their family’s life as well.

Her passion in patient care, enthusiasm is teaching is evident when she was chosen not only as the chief medical resident, but also as the chair of the Chief residents council for the state of Nevada in addition to being honored with the “Best teacher” award during her Internal Medicine residency.

This passion and enthusiasm continued in her Cardiology fellowship at University of Texas where she was recognized as the best clinical fellow in addition to being honored to be the chief fellow. At the U of U, where she trained in cardiac Electrophysiology, she is well known to be a passionate advocate of patients and an highly knowledgeable expertly skilled physician in the electrophysiology lab.

She is honored to bring her expertise, skills, passion and staunch advocacy for a “patient first” approach to St. Mark’s hospital and is excited to be part of this great team of cardiologists here.

Her passion is early recognition and treatment of complex arrhythmias and quality of life improvement through device therapies. In addition to patient care, she is also actively involved in research to further the science of cardiac electrophysiology and recently presented her research at the American College of Cardiology national meeting and the Heart Rhythm Society national meeting.

She is currently accepting and taking care of patients at the St. Mark’s hospital.
